Product Info

The nasal spray contains an active ingredient, xylometazoline, which helps provide congestion relief for common cold, allergic rhinitis or sinusitis.*

Ingredients

Otrivin Junior Nasal Spray contains the following active ingredients:

Xylometazoline hydrochloride 0.05%

Always read the patient information leaflet.

Contains benzalkonium chloride as a preservative.

How to Use

The maximum daily dose to be sprayed is 2-3 times a day, two sprays per nostril. Do not use for more than three days at a time unless advised by a doctor or pharmacist. If congestion persists for more than 3 days, seek medical advice.

Do not cut the nozzle. The metered dose spray is ready to prime before use.
Gently clear your child’s nose.
Remove protective cap.
Before using for the first time, prime the pump by actuating 4 times. Once primed, the pump will normally remain charged throughout regular daily treatment periods. If the spray is not ejected during the full actuation stroke, or if the product has not been used for longer than 7 days, the pump will need to be reprimed with 2 actuations. Be very careful not to spray in the eyes or mouth.
Hold bottle upright with thumb under base and nozzle between two fingers.
Lean your child’s head forward slightly and insert the nozzle into the nostril. Spray and ask the child to breathe in gently through the nose at the same time.

If these requirements are not satisfied Pharmacy Junction reserves the right not to offer an exchange or refund for change of mind returns.

Return postage costs will have to be paid by the customer and any postage paid will not be refunded. In the case that free shipping is offered, an $10 fee is deducted from the refund as postage is at our expense.

Pharmacy Junction uses Australia Post OR Courier Please for all deliveries. All parcels will be delivered to the provided address and may require a signature on receipt. It is recommended to provide a work address for delivery if no one is home during business hours, as Australia Post & Courier Please will leave a card with collection point details.
